Car to be at auction 7/18
www.historics.co.uk/buying/auctions/2018-07-07/cars/ref-128-1954-jaguar-mk-vii-m ...

Auction description:
Brooklands Motor Museum
July 7th 2018
Lot 240 - 1954 Jaguar Mk. VII M
Registration PLD 837
Chassis Number D/N723068
Engine Number D4571-8
Odometer reading 31,580 miles
Estimate £9,000 - £12,000

Requires some recommissioning
Owned by the vendor for the last 19 years

Originally registered on 2nd November 1954 this Jaguar has been owned by the vendor for the last 19 years. She has not been used for a number of years and will require some recommissioning although this Mk. VII appears to be quite a sound Jaguar and we are advised the engine runs well. With Mk. VII's regularly achieving prices circa £25,000, this example appears to be very realistically estimated.

This Jaguar MK VII M is showing only 31,000 miles and has been off the road for over 19 years. The car has now been recommissioned which includes a total brake overhaul and is described by the vendor as running very well. The engine was subject to a full engine rebuild prior to being put into long term storage. This car body is said to be in great condition with a lovely original interior with good patina. Both original tool boxes are present in the doors and are complete. The chassis is described as very good and the car is now ready for a new owner to bring it up to its full potential.
